Have a cup of tea on our Solidaritea event days on every 5th of the month to show Solidarity to Kashmiris. This can be individually, in groups or as an organised event. Upload posts to social media with the hastag ~SolidariTea4Kashmir
You can become a country representative for your country or enquire to join your country group. Mostly done through What’s app and Facebook with the idea to make people in your country aware and to unite all pro Kashmiri voices.
Register to unite for the UK- Unite group where we will meet to work as one big lobbying group to put our voices together with a view to petitioning our parliament and UN.
Join the on ground events and peaceful protests on and upload comments and photos of your evidence.
We need to write to our council bodies, MPs and Parliamentary shadow ministers and cabinet ministers alerting them to the situation.
We also need to Target UN Secretary General, members of UNSC,UN bodies charged with the responsibility of ensuring respect for human rights by the member states.13 resolutions adopted by the UNSC on the Kashmir dispute extensively deal with all aspects of the conflict and also provide legal and political cover for the recommendations and directions contained in the resolutions.
It will be useful to address letters to UN Secretary, General members of UNSC and relevant bodies in the UN system on the lines to sensitize them on the gravity of the situation in IOK urging them to initiate action to prevent further deterioration in the the situation. It is the responsibility of UNSC to maintain international peace and security. UNSG be requested to ensure compliance with UN Conventions on human rights by India and to initiate action for the plebiscite pledged in the UNSCRs.
